Did you know that under the Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting Rule, certain entities are required to file beneficial ownership information reports to FinCEN? An entity that has been created or registered to do business before Jan. 1, 2024 must file the initial report by Jan. 1, 2025. An entity that is created or registered to do business after Jan. 1, 2024 must file its initial report within 90 days after receiving notice that its creation or registration is effective.
